Each year for nearly 40 years, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) organizes the BDC Small Business Week, which goal is to bring together thousands of business people at hundreds of events across Canada to celebrate entrepreneurship, learn and network with other entrepreneurs. This year, the BDC Small Business Week runs from October 16 to 22, and Nutcache wants to encourage entrepreneurship by suggesting three simple ways that you can celebrate:
Make sure you are working with the right management tools
As a busy entrepreneur, you are probably facing a never ending list of ongoing projects. Having on hand the right management tools becomes an absolute necessity. Although there are several business management applications on the market that will help you save time and money, there are few delivered in an “all-in-one” fashion, offering project management, time tracking, expense management and invoicing. Nutcache belongs to this category. Moreover, with the recent integration between Nutcache and Dynacom Accounting, you can now add an accounting solution including payroll processing to your management tools. Take advantage of the BDC Small Business Week to discover them!
Focus on adequate training
Having the right management tool is useless if your employees do not know how to use it. It is therefore essential to identify your employees’ needs and offer them training tailored to their daily activities. Your employees will gain experience and acquire new skills, which ultimately will help increase both their productivity and yours too!
Attend to events happening around Canada
During BDC Small Business Week, join thousands of business owners and professionals at over 300 events across the country to learn, network and socialize with your local business community. Take a look at the BDC events list to find out what is happening near you.
