Checking your notifications on a regular basis is a great way to stay organized and let your colleagues know you’re on top of your work. Today, we are announcing that we have completely redesigned the notification feature to keep you informed of your activity without interrupting your work. More informative and intuitive, the new notifications will offer greater flexibility, particularly with regard to the type of notifications you can set and receive.
All notifications are grouped and manageable in one cohesive place for increased productivity.
The notification setting screen lets you determine which notifications you want to receive and through which communication channel (either by email or within the application).
You will be notified when:
- You get assigned to a project or when a budget is reached or altered.
- A task is assigned to you or when changes are made to your tasks.
- Someone mentions you in task-related comments.
- Invoices are sent, seen by the recipients or payments are made.
- Time entries are approved/rejected.
- Expenses are approved/rejected.

New task display views
In addition to the redesigned notification feature, this Nutcache update introduces a new way to display task lists within a project. From now on, you will be able to choose between a “table” view and a “list” view depending on which way suits you best.
A new mobile app update
We also took advantage of this new release to update our mobile app with the latest improvements we added to the web version of the timer. Now all time entries are grouped by day in the lower portion of the timer with a total time for each day. When several timers are started on the same day on the same task, the timer will also display the total cumulated time for that task. It is now also possible to add notes to your time entries.
We hope this latest Nutcache update empowers you and your team to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently. Boost your productivity, login to Nutcache today!
